There are various options when it comes to protecting your family, and we can offer a range of advice and help you find a solution for the following:

  • Life cover: The purpose of Life cover is to provide financial support in the form of a lump sum to your nominated beneficiary in the event of your death, some providers will also pay out if diagnosed with a terminal illness. You should consider life insurance if you have children or other dependents who rely on your income or have long term debts like a mortgage or if you want to leave financial support to assist your loved ones after you die.

  • Family cover: The purpose of family income benefit is to provide a regular tax-free income to your family if you die/become terminally ill. This can help cover living costs, household bills, mortgage payments and education costs.

  • Critical illness cover: The purpose of critical illness cover is to provide a lump sum if you are diagnosed with an illness covered by your policy before the policy ends. It could help with household bills, pay of your mortgage, living costs or maintain your family’s standard of living if forced to take time off work to recover.

  • Income protection: The purpose of Income Protection is to provide a monthly tax-free income if the policy holder is incapacitated and hence unable to work due to accident or illness. This policy can have a short term set benefit period of 1, 2 or 5 years or can pay until retirement age (maximum age 70).

  • Accident & Sickness: Accident, Sickness and unemployment – Accident, sickness and unemployment (ASU) Insurance is designed to cover a portion of your income if you are unable to work due yo illness, injury or compulsory redundancy.
