During her 15 years working within the mortgage industry, Tara has developed her knowledge and experience through various roles within finance.
Tara started her career working for a pensions advisory firm until she found her passion for mortgages while working for the Bank of Ireland. Within this role, she carried out numerous financial tasks, such as: underwriting mortgage applications to completion and funds release.
Tara knew being at the start of the customer journey was her ambition and pursued a career as a mortgage adviser within one of the UK’s largest estate agency networks.
Her in-depth knowledge of the end-to-end process enables Tara to fully support her clients, offering advice from the start of an application right through to the completion.
After a period of extensive learning and development, Tara took the decision to become a self-employed mortgage adviser, which allowed her to offer clients tailored and bespoke advice. With a greater depth of experience, she has now started up her own mortgage and protection firm, offering mortgage and protection advice for domestic and commercial clients.
To gain further knowledge that could benefit her clients, Tara has also partnered with other local professionals to be able to offer solicitor and valuer services.
Tara lives in Bristol and is a keen equestrian with an interest in show jumping and training young horses. She also enjoys spending time her two sons.
